Our Services

  • Immunization and Wellness Care

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

  • Nutritional Counseling

Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained and certified staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.  Hill's Science Diets, Hill's Prescription Diets, Purina Veterinary Diets, and Innovative Veterinary Diets by Royal Canin are among the pet food formulations available to benefit your pet.

  • Microchipping

Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery.  We also have a universal scanner on the premises to check stray pets brought into the hospital for an identifying microchip.

  • Pain Management

Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care.  Healing from surgery or injuries may occur at a faster rate if pain is reduced.  We are also able to help those pets with chronic pain issues, such as arthritis, lead longer and more comfortable lives.

  • Surgery

All patients are examined prior to surgery for safety and preanesthetic blood work is available for health sreening prior to anesthesia.  Anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet.  Highly trained and experienced veterinary and technical staff members along with advanced sterilization techniques, pulse and oxygen saturation monitors, and intensive after surgery care ensure the safest, most efficient surgical and anesthetic procedures for your pet.  All general surgery patients benefit from the use of gas anesthesia, which is the safest method of anesthetizing a patient.  We use the most advanced gas called sevofluorane.

  • Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line.  Technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.  Dental products such as special pet toothpastes and brushes, Hill's Prescription Diet T/D, and chlorhexidine oral rinses are also made available to aid in our patients' dental care.

  • Radiology

Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.  OFA hip and elbow evaluations are also available for dogs being considered for breeding.Vetsuite_Img_69002

  • Fully Stocked Pharmacy

We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.

  • Boarding

Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling).  Science Diet foods are fed to our "guests" and medical attention is right there if it is necessary.  Both short term boarding (such as a family trip) and long term boarding (such as military family relocation) are available.  All dogs must have had bordetella vaccination within the last 6 months and be current on rabies and DHPP vaccinations.  Cats must be current on the rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  All dogs staying 3 nights or more receive a FREE bath before leaving.

  • Grooming

Our trained grooming staff possesses the expert knowledge needed to simultaneously offer skilled grooming services, safety and comfort to our patients.  These services are for those pets needing a trim here and there, a complete shave-down, or a coat stripped and blown out.  Professional grooming appointments are limited as our groomers are only available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and specific Thursdays.  Dogs must be current on rabies and DHPP vaccinations and have had bordetella vaccination within the last 6 months.  Cats must be current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.

  • Bathing

Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim and ear cleaning.  Bathing appointments are available throughout the week.  Dogs must have had bordetella vaccination within the last 6 months and be current on rabies and DHPP; cats must be current on rabies and FVRCP.

  • Hospice / Euthanasia Services

Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity.  Cremation services are available, including that which ensures an individual cremation with return of ashes to the pet's owner.  A variety of wooden and ceramic urns is also available for cremains.
